Tricia Wass

With a background in psychiatric nursing and counselling, Tricia has worked as a senior manager in the HIV and substance misuse fields before becoming an independent management consultant in 1996. Since that time she has worked with over 100 clients from the health and social care sector and has built up such a good reputation that many of her clients have continued to commission her over the past ten years. Tricia has particular expertise in strategic thinking, developing teams and individuals, and working alongside organisations to enable them to successfully manage competing priorities.  Through her psychodynamic training, Tricia is particularly skilled in helping organisations understand and address the complex underlying processes that can block effective working.

Frances Ellery

Frances Ellery was Head of Publications at Save the Children for 10 years and previously worked variously as a publications manager or editor with Child Poverty Action Group, Shelter, BAAF, International Labour Reports and Women Working Worldwide. She was a founder member of Outwrite international feminist newspaper and has a breadth of journalistic and editorial experience in the voluntary sector. Specialist areas include international development, social policy, health, education, gender and children’s right.

Frances has particular expertise in copywriting (feature articles, campaign reports, fundraising brochures, web copy), editing (policy reports, practice guides, handbooks), and training (writing for different audiences, editorial style, plain English, grammar, non-discriminatory language).

Her major clients have included Save the Children UK , Joseph Rowntree Foundation,   
Commonwealth Education Fund, Oxfam and Save the Children Australia.

Susy Taylor

Susy Taylor has worked in Primary Care NHS organisations for the past 25 years. As an independent management consultant for the past 10 years, she has worked on projects in local government, NHS Trusts, Primary Care Trusts, with individual clients, independent companies and in the voluntary sector. Most recently she worked as a clinical governance manager. In particular her work focuses on quality improvement programmes using a variety of methods to facilitate change management projects. 

Susy has particular expertise in clinical audit, implementing clinical effectiveness, integrated care pathways, clinical risk management, patients’ experiences, evaluation, Information Management and Technology, needs assessment and training. She has taught these methodologies both at undergraduate and post graduate levels. She has a deep understanding of the workings of the NHS, particularly in primary care and commissioning services for young people at risk of substance misuse.

Her major clients have included London Boroughs of Newham, Redbridge and Greenwich,  Lewisham, Southwark and Lamberth PCTs, Kings College, University of London and
Quality Medical Solutions.

Monica Tuohy

Monica Tuohy is an independent trainer and consultant delivering domestic violence training in a range of areas including the Supporting People Programme, best practice with regard to domestic violence interventions and change management. Most recently she has worked for the Greater London Domestic Violence Project and Ebony Sistren Housing Association. Monica is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnal and Development (CMIPD).

Monica has particular expertise in the facilitation of consultation events, staff supervision (front line and management), conducting policy and practice reviews, providing telephone support and advice for staff, recruitment and selection and fund-raising (completion of grant applications).

Her major clients include the London Borough of Hackney, the NHS, Women’s Aid, Jewish Women’s Aid, WOMANKIND, London Borough of Islington and London Borough of

Lorraine Roberts
Lorraine Roberts builds on many years senior management experience in the voluntary and statutory sector, primarily at a strategic level. She has a background in regeneration, equalities, community participation and organizational development. Lorraine is driven by a commitment to collaboration, diversity and achieving results, together with a belief that solutions often lie in working together.

Lorraine has particular expertise in strategic planning, policy review and development, stakeholder and community consultation, project and performance evaluation, partnership development, new initiative establishment and project mentoring and interim management.

Yvonne Rivers

Yvonne Rivers’ focus of work is community, people and organisational development. Her approach is informed by the principles of consultation, flexibility and development potential. Recently, her work has included evaluation of training, training needs assessments, team development, development and delivery of training courses with the Working Together Project.  She has also developed and delivered 4 weeks training and facilitated programme development with Pakistan Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Agency and Handicap International in Islamabad.

Yvonne has particular expertise in: the facilitation of team, organisational and strategic development sessions with staff and volunteers at all levels; external supervision and support for individuals and teams focusing on development and change; support in the development and implementation of community development projects with diverse communities; organisational and project needs assessments and evaluations; and training (needs analysis, course development and delivery).

Charlotte Clow

A social worker by training, Charlotte Clow has 20 years mental health experience across the voluntary and statutory sectors. After many years of team management, she has worked since 2004 in a service improvement role, initially within a PCT mental health commissioning team and more recently within a  mental health provider trust, carrying out whole system review and redesign work. 

Charlotte has also worked as a Development Consultant for the South East Development Centre (Care Services Improvement Partnership) implementing gender equality in mental health services and improving services for surivors of sexual violence, and is currently a mental health sessional expert for the DH National Support Team for Responding to Sexual Violence. 

Charlotte has particular expertise in mental health, sexual violence, commissioning, project management, training, service review and redesign, strategy and policy development, and service user involvement.

Helen Joubert Design specialises in graphic design for the voluntary and public sectors. With over 25 years experience, Helen Joubert Design has developed a special understanding of the needs and sensitivities of these sectors and earned a reputation for producing effective design within budget.

With particular strengths in information and corporate design, projects have ranged from printed graphics to new media commissions, and from the most rigorous information design through to highly idiosyncratic pieces.
